The hits keep coming for receiver Kevin White and the Chicago Bears.
According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, the Bears are now expecting their second-year receiver to miss an “extended period of time” with an ankle injury suffered during Chicago’s win over the Detroit Lions last week.

The seventh pick in the 2015 NFL draft, White has 19 catches for 187 yards over four games this season. He missed his entire rookie season after suffering a fracture in his shin.
White suffered his latest injury at the end of a 1-yard catch against the Lions. He left the game and didn’t return.
According to Jeff Dickerson of ESPN, White had an MRI on the ankle on Monday.

The Bears just can’t stay healthy. White has joined quarterback Jay Cutler, nose tackle Eddie Goldman, running back Jeremy Langford, linebackers Danny Trevathan, Lamarr Houston and Pernell McPhee and cornerback Kyle Fuller among key members of Chicago’s roster dealing with injuries.
The Bears take on the Indianapolis Colts in Week 5. Don’t expect White to be in uniform.
