Report: Nets, Randy Foye agree upon one-year deal

Free agent guard Randy Foye has agreed on a one-year deal with the Brooklyn Nets, reports Adrian Wojnarowski of The Vertical.

A former seventh overall pick, Foye has played for the Timberwolves, Wizards, Clippers, Jazz, Nuggets and Thunder over the course of his 10-year NBA career. Last season, he appeared in 54 games for the Nuggets and 27 games for the Thunder for a total of 81 games. Foye was traded at the Feb. 18 deadline in exchange for D. J. Augustin, Steve Novak, two second-round draft picks and cash considerations.

After missing out on signing Tyler Johnson and Allen Crabbe last week, the Nets have turned to veteran free agents to make up the roster. Brooklyn has signed Greivis Vasquez, Luis Scola and Anthony Bennett this week. Foye’s numbers have dipped the last couple of years, but he’s still a good perimeter shooter and he’ll bring experience to the Nets young roster.
