Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski had a favorable matchup on Sunday, going up against the Bengals’ linebackers and safeties—who struggle in coverage—and he exploited it.
The Patriots have been easing Gronk back into the offense as he recovers from a lingering hamstring injury, but he looked good on Sunday. The most explosive tight end in the league racked up yards after the catch on multiple occasions, and he also caught a four-yard touchdown pass from Tom Brady to help the Patriots regain the lead with five minutes remaining in the third quarter.

Check out that spike, though.
Looks like Gronk is returning to midseason form.
