Ronda Rousey Used to Fight Random People for Frappuccinos (Video)

September 29th, better known as National Coffee Day, has come and gone. For those of us who now have to endure the 364-day wait until our next chance for free Dunkin Donuts coffee, here’s some pointers from Ronda Rousey on how to get your caffeine fix when you’re short on change.

Before becoming the world-famous UFC star the currently is, Rousey was just a poor teenage student looking for ways to scrape up an extra buck. In an interview with Sports Illustrated, Rousey recalls how she and a friend used to go to the promenade and challenge random guys to fight for cash. These marks, unaware that they were about to face off with future UFC royalty, accepted the bet. After getting their tails whupped by a teenaged girl, Rousey stripped these guys of both their pride and their money.

So how did Rousey spend her hard-earned dollars? It turns out the bantamweight champion had quite the addiction to Starbuck’s Frappuccinos.

As the highest paid fighter in the UFC, Rousey no longer has to go trolling for coffee. She can afford to buy the entire café.
