Russell Westbrook and Kevin Durant were once the best of friends.
Now, it seems that bromance was just a distant memory, as the two have yet to speak since Durant took his talents to the Bay Area. That’s what we last heard at least. Being that it’s been a few months since Durant departed OKC, you’d think that the two had spoken at least for a few minutes since then, but that’s not the case.
Westbrook spoke about it during the Thunder’s media day on Friday, and after being asked if the two were cool, Westbrook made sure to say that he hasn’t talked to Durant since he left.
Notice as soon as Durant’s name was mentioned, Russ began stretching as he prepared himself for the question. That’s why he’s the Bestbrook.
