The Los Angeles Lakers brought in Timofey Mozgov to sign his four-year, $64 million contract on Friday, and now we know that the numbers that were being reported are, indeed, real.
Mozgov barely played in the NBA Finals, yet was pursued hard by the Lakers once he became a free agent, and got a hefty raise from the $4.9 million he made last season. The move left many pundits questioning why Los Angeles paid him so much.
What you can’t question, though, is Mozgov’s troll game. Check him out signing the new contract wearing a “Lil Kev” shirt.

Some backstory: “Lil Kev” was born when Kevin Love’s teammate, Richard Jefferson, noticed one particular Tommy Bahama model that caught his eye. The model had a strikingly similar resemblance to Love, and that’s how the “Lil Kev” moniker was created.
Whether or not Mozgov will be a difference-maker on the floor with his new team remains to be seen, but his troll game is strong.
