Redskins defender hurts himself celebrating on chest bump gone wrong (video)

Washington Redskins safety Trenton Robinson was thrilled when Atlanta Falcons kicker Matt Bryant missed a 48-yard field goal at the end of the first half of Sunday’s game.

Robinson decided to celebrate, especially since his team was out in front with an insurmountable 7-3 lead. Clearly, there was no chance the Falcons were going to come back and win.

So, Robinson jumped up to chest bump a teammate, as they were both excited. Unfortunately, he landed awkwardly and fell to the ground.

Robinson limped off the field, but said he didn’t sustain any major injuries, and that it was just a cramp.

Robinson may want to hold off on celebrating until later in games next time, as the Falcons came out on top with a 25-19 victory in overtime on a walk-off interception thrown by Kirk Cousins.
