Questionable decisions are made every week in the NFL. And when a team is playing with a lead, like the Pittsburgh Steelers currently are in their matchup with the Indianapolis Colts, they can certainly afford to take risks. But one has to wonder what the Steelers were thinking when they elected to have quarterback Ben Roethlisberger attempt a drop kick.
The punt attempt failed badly as the Colts were not fooled and linebacker Jonathan Newsome had no trouble swatting it out of the air a split second after it left Roethlisberger’s left foot (he throws with his right arm).
That Roethlisberger punt decision was very dumb. Either go for it, try FG or bring in the guy u pay to punt the ball

Steelers fans can’t complain too much about their quarterback otherwise. Through one half of play, he has completed 23-of-27 passes for 320 Yards and four touchdowns en route to a 35-20 halftime lead.
