When you’re the New York Jets, sometimes you have to try whatever it takes to win. That could not have been more obvious than on the Jets’ failed attempt at pulling off TCU’s trick play on a kickoff return, with one player fielding the kick and another lying down in the end zone trying to hide.
The idea is to have the receiver throw the football across the field to the other return guy in hopes of fooling the unsuspecting defense. Unfortunately for the Jets, it just didn’t work out.
The Buffalo Bills snuffed it out and pinned the Jets at their own two-yard line.
