Alabama @ Ole Miss tickets are most expensive for Week 6 in college football

Week 6 of the college football season is here and No. 3 ranked Alabama travels to Vaught-Hemingway Stadium at Hollingsworth Field to play Ole Miss as the top-priced game on the secondary market. Following the SEC matchup in price is a game between Stanford and Notre Dame, where the home team owns the third most expensive season average in college football. Tennessee welcomes Florida to Neyland Stadium as the third top-priced game while Auburn sets to play LSU at Jordan-Hare Stadium. Rounding off this week’s college list is a game between Michigan and Rutgers at High Point Solutions Stadium, serving as the fifth and final most expensive game of the week.

Alabama at Ole Miss | Avg. Price: $310.51 | Get-in: $185

Boasting a 4-0 record heading into Week 6 is Alabama, who travels to Oxford, Mississippi this weekend to play Ole Miss. The game will serve as the most expensive of the week, with Ole Miss vs Alabama football tickets currently listed at an average of $310.51 on the secondary market, the most expensive game on the Ole Miss football schedule at 157.2% above the season average of $120.70. The get-in price for the game is currently $185. The Rebels also enter their game against the Crimson Tide at 4-0 and will be tested by the #3 ranked team in the FBS. The two teams met last year in Tuscaloosa, with Alabama cruising to an easy victory against Ole Miss 25-0 at Bryant-Denny Stadium.

Notre Dame heads home after beating Syracuse at MetLife Stadium en route to their fourth straight win of the season last weekend. The Fighting Irish control the third most expensive season average in college football and it will be evident for their game against Stanford this Saturday. The average secondary market price for Notre Dame football tickets against Stanford is $249.47, the most expensive home game  remaining on the Notre Dame football schedule at 22.9% above the team’s $202.86 average at home this season. The get-in price starts at $103. Like its price predecessors Alabama and Ole Miss, Notre Dame will go for its fifth win on Saturday against 3-1 Stanford.

Florida at Tennessee | Avg. Price: $235.86 | Get-in: $126

After a tight-knit road game against Georgia last weekend that ultimately resulted in a loss for the Tennessee Volunteers, the team heads home to lick their wounds against the Florida Gators on Saturday. The average price for Tennessee vs Florida football tickets is $235.86 on the secondary market, 56.9% above the season average of $150.32 for Tennessee tickets at home. Saturday’s game currently has a get-in price of $126. The SEC matchup pens the 2-2 Volunteers against the 2-1 Gators. The two teams last met in Week 4 of the 2013 season at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium in Gainesville, with Florida taking a 31-17 win over Tennessee.

LSU at Auburn | Avg. Price: $212.81 | Get-in: $125

No. 5 ranked Auburn hosts LSU at Jordan-Hare Stadium this Saturday, serving as the fourth most expensive game in college football this week. The average secondary market price for Auburn vs LSU football tickets is $212.81, the second highest-priced game on the remaining LSU football schedule at home, trailing just a game against Texas A&M on November 8. The get-in price for Saturday’s game is currently $125. Auburn hosts its second consecutive home game after cruising to an easy victory against Louisiana Tech last weekend. They sit at 4-0 this year and take on 4-1 LSU this Saturday, who will be playing its first road game of the season.

Michigan at Rutgers | Avg. Price: $156.63 | Get-in: $68

Rutgers welcomes the struggling Michigan Wolverines to High Point Solutions Stadium on Saturday. The game rounds off this week’s top-priced games as Rutgers vs Michigan football tickets have an average price of $156.63 on the secondary market and a get-in price of $68. Rutgers hosted Tulane last weekend, taking an easy victory from the Green Wave. Michigan will look to recuperate after a dismal game against Minnesota last weekend heads to Piscataway with a 2-3 record.
