It’d seem since the ball wasn’t snapped and the play clock was at 0, Florida should be assessed a delay of game penalty, right?
It was fourth down, and that didn’t happen. Mark Stoops was angry. Florida converted for a touchdown in overtime. And eventually, the Gators beat the Wildcats. Surely, the play clock alone didn’t defeat Kentucky, but a little of that time-lag home cooking certainly didn’t hurt the Gators.
