One of the best things about college football is the passion fans have for their team, their university, and their players. Of course, being so passionate about something also means that from time to time you get your heart broken.
On gameday, Twitter is an amazing way to follow the ups and downs of college football, and with that, we bring you the five fan bases that had the most to be sad about this past weekend:
No.1: Florida Gators
The Gators not only lost to a Missouri team that was coming off a 34-0 loss to Georgia; they lost at home and in spectacular fashion. Florida held Missouri to 119 total yards and only seven first downs, but Missouri won 42-13 because the Tigers scored twice on kick returns and twice on defense. The Will Muschamp era is at an all-time low.

No. 2: Baylor Bears
Last week the Bears snatched victory from the jaws of defeat against TCU, but this week they couldn’t put on a repeat performance. They traveled to Morgantown and couldn’t find that same magic in the fourth quarter, as West Virginia handed the Bears their first loss of the season, 41-27.

No. 3: Texas A&M Aggies
Not only did Texas A&M get beat by Alabama, the Aggies got embarrassed. Two years ago, the Aggies beat the Tide in Tuscaloosa. Last year, the Aggies lost by only seven at home. This year they got steamrolled in Bryant-Denny Stadium, 59-0.

No. 4: Oklahoma Sooners
The Sooners had so much going for them this year, and many were calling for them to be national champions or at least remain in the thick of the College Football Playoff hunt. A loss to TCU on October 4 hurt their chances, but the Kansas State loss this week (at home) could end up being a back-breaker for them.

No. 5: Tennessee Volunteers
The Volunteers have been on the cusp of beating someone important all year long, but they just can’t seem to break through. They lost to Oklahoma, Georgia (by 3 points), Florida (by 1), and after a first quarter that ended in a 0-0 tie, Ole Miss took them to the woodshed.
