College Football’s New Home: “Hotel Controversy”

One more entry to be filed under “college football officiating madness” (or “college football thought police”) for the 2014 season:

You can’t make this stuff up.

Hopefully, players will find creative ways to make the end zone a hotel of happiness… but not lead officials to litter their “hotel rooms” with more laundry. The potential for comedy is great. Unfortunately, so is the potential for that 15-yard penalty after a touchdown with 1:12 left in regulation which gives the other team a much better chance of kicking a tying field goal, shrouding a game in controversy.
