Tom Rowe will take the place of the coach for the ongoing season
There has been a general and an official announcement stating that Tom Rowe who was serving as their general manager will also step into the shoes of Gerard Gallant and will be the intermediate of the interim coach till the end of the season.
He took up the position of the interim coach of the team after the immediate firing of their head coach. Gerard Gallant was asked to resign right after the team suffered a loss of 3 goals to 2 goals against the team Carolina Hurricanes.

According to the president of the team Matt Caldwell, they are primarily focusing on the giving themselves a win of the targeted and the most prestigious Stanley Cup.
