New England 41, Denver 23 – Running On Empty by Jackson Browne

Tim Tebow and the Broncos’ miracle run has come to an end. It was fun while it lasted but reality hit hard in the form of Tom Brady’s Patriots. The Broncos came hot out of the gates as Tim Tebow did what Tim Tebow does, pushing off tacklers giving the Broncos an early 6-0 lead. But once Brady got the ball he showed the league why Tebow should not be mentioned in the same breath as him. Teams were trading shots until a turning point in the second quarter where Tebow fumbled the ball and the Patriots never looked back.

The Broncos still control their own faith in terms of winning the division and Patriots will continue to try and win and get that home field advantage and bye.

Indianapolis 27, Tennessee 13- Feels So Good by Steven Tyler

Congratulations to the Colts! A word of caution, if you win too many games you might play yourself out of Andrew Luck. Don’t get too ahead of yourselves!

Donald Brown has done enough to at least let critics consider taking his name off the bust list as he has now piled up a few good games in a row. The Colts played with fire this week and were ready to get this monkey off their back and got the job done.

Kansas City 19, Green Bay 14 – Loser by Beck

This might be harsh for a team that just lost its only game of the season but it might be the only time Green Bay losses this season. Kansas City seems to have to perfect game plan as their defense was able to continually get Rodgers on the ground. Rodgers seemed to really miss his go to target Greg Jennings and KC did just enough to hold on for the major upset.

Kyle Orton should get major credit for making plays when his team needed them. Stepping up when he wasn’t at 100% playing a very solid game to help his team take down the juggernaut that was the Green Bay Packers.

Kansas City believe it or not is still alive in the playoff hunt. If all the teams in the AFC West finish 8-8 then it would be Kansas City’s division via tie breaker. Get crazy with the Cheez Whiz.

San Diego 34, Baltimore 14 and Philadelphia 45, New York Jets 19 – It’s too late by Carole King

This songs fits with both teams as it appears both teams are hitting their stride a little too late.

The San Diego Chargers are finally starting to look like the San Diego Chargers. Philip Rivers is finally starting to look like Philip Rivers. Bad news: It’s probably too late. Denver still controls their own fate and San Diego is going to have to keep the ball rolling if they want any hope of a playoff berth. That being said San Diego would be a scary team if they can find their way into the playoffs as they completed dominated the Ravens from the first snap of the game.

The Eagles finally look like the team we thought they would be but they are going to need a lot of help if they want any chance at realizing their playoff dreams.

Washington 23, New York 10 – Fall To Pieces by Velvet Revolver

The Dallas Cowboys served up a strong serve dominating the Bucs on Saturday. It was the Giants’ turn to reply on Sunday, but they came up very flat and lost to the Redskins for the second time this season. I don’t know what has got into this Giants team but it seems like another late season collapse might be brewing. Giants still hold the cards in their hand as if they win their remaining two games they will have the NFC East.

I really have no idea what to expect from this Giants team anymore.
