Just when you think bountygate is over, it comes back kicking and screaming.
According to SI's Jim Trotter, a 3 member panel has overturned Roger Goodell's bountygate suspensions.
BREAKING: A 3-member appeals panel has overturned the player suspensions in the Saints bounty case, says a source. Details coming.

At this point, there are no details beyond what Trotter reported via Twitter. Mike Florio reported earlier that defensive end Will Smith would play if he had legal clearance, but Jonathan Vilma's and Anthony Hargrove's (Cleveland Browns) statuses are still unclear.
The really interesting part of this will be to see how Roger Goodell and the NFL respond to the overturned suspensions. Regardless, for the moment anyway, those players who were suspended seem to be off the hook.
Updated:
According to Peter King, GMs/coaches suspensions not affected by the ruling. Payton, Loomis, et al. still suspended.
Suspension ramifications: Will Smith could play v RG3 Sunday, which would be big … Payton, Loomis, not covered by this. No Coach/GM Union.
