Michael Vick leaves preseason game with hand injury

Michael Vick left tonight's preseason game against the Pittsburgh Steelers after hitting his hand on one of his lineman's helmet. It's not immediately available how severe the injury to his throwing hand is, but it's no surprise the injury marked the end of Vick's game.

Vick completed three of his four passes, but that only accounted for 6 yards against a Steelers defense that swarmed to anyone with the ball.

The Eagle's first team offense and defense looked out of form, but considering it is only the first preseason game, that's not exactly shocking news. The Steelers, by contrast, looked as if they picked up right where they left off, especially on defense.

We'll be staying tuned for more news on Michael Vick's injury. When a quarterback plasters his hand into another player's helmet, it isn't uncommon to break carpal or metacarpal bones.
