NFL week 10 rock stars

For those about to rock we salute you.  This week the NFL was as whacky as ever, this weekend features crazy upsets, massive beats and well the Jets falling apart again. A couple of players stood out from the pack and had break through performances. Here are this week’s NFL rock stars.

Adrian Peterson – 171 rushing yards – 1TD – U Can’t Touch This by MC Hammer

You can’t touch all day Adrian Peterson and if you can well then you can’t bring him down.  AP is making a strong case for both comeback player of the year and even MVP. Peterson put the Harvinless Viking team on his back and led them to a big W against the Lions. The Lions have a very formidable run d however AP is matchup proof as most fantasy owners already know. AP looks like he hasn’t lost a step and remains the best running back in the league.

Andy Dalton 21/30 199 yards – 4 TD’s 127.6 passer rating – Red by Taylor Swift

To start I can say I guarantee you fine folks that this is the first and last time we use a Taylor Swift song on our NFL jukebox but Taylor Swift and Andy Dalton just for some reason seem like a good fit. Dalton has had his ups and down this season and throughout his young NFL career but this week while most of America looked past the Bengals, they had a little surprise when the Super Bowl Champs came to visit. Dalton lead a solid passing attacked featuring AJ Green to crush the Giants in a pretty large upset and probably the most shocking box score of the week.

Sam Koch – Ravens Punter – 7 Yard TD run – Can I Kick It? By A Tribe Called Quest

As Rich Eisen would say Punter are people too. During the Ravens 55 point beat down on the Raiders even the punter got into the scoring as one of the league’s top punters ran a 7 yard fake for a touchdown. Who doesn’t love watching a punter score?

Jimmy Graham – 7 rec 146 yards 2TD’s – "The Battle Of Evermore" by Led Zeppelin

This week featured a battle of one of the best tight ends to ever play in Tony G against one of the leagues best today in Jimmy Graham. Both tight ends were dynamic and worth of this spot however its Jimmy Graham who gets the spot as his Saints pulled off the big upset keeping their season alive giving the Falcons their first loss of the season.

Honorable mentions: AJ Green, Arian Foster, CJ2K, Matt Ryan, Tony G
