Tweet indicates Maurice Jones-Drew won’t miss any games

Fantasy football is a guilty addiction of many of today’s football fans. It’s gained popularity to the point that players routinely participate in various fantasy football leagues. One of the top potential holdouts of the 2012 season, Maurice Jones-Drew, is one of those players that participates in various fantasy leagues, and if he intends on winning his most recent league, he won’t be missing any gametime.

Now I know that there’s nothing binding about picking oneself in a fantasy league, but Maurice Jones-Drew is a very competitive person. The feeling around the league is that he may miss some training camp time, but the Jaguars have no interest in negotiating a new deal with 2 full years left on his contract. Missing games does nothing to help Jones-Drew in his pursuit of a new contract, and most believe he’ll be back for the beginning of the season.
