According to NBC Sports, a Norwegian by the name of Havard Rugland was given a kicking tryout by the New York Jets after the Jets saw the video above. While many of the trick kicks are, well, impressive, the part the Jets likely took notice of starts at about the one minute mark of the video. At that point, Rugland nails place kicks of sixty, fifty, forty and thirty yards in consecutive kicks.
There's no word yet how serious the Jets are about the possibility of signing Rugland, but it's clear that the young man has some talent, and if the Jets don't pounce, another team could be close behind.
