#Dolphins are at point that other teams' franchise QBs try to pass as members. Nice hat Kaepernick! @NinersNation pic.twitter.com/aTNIxyoMKU

So we have a picture of Colin Kaepernick wearing a Miami Dolphins hat. No bit deal right? Apparently wrong.
The backlash over Kaepernick's hat has been swift and angry in some circles while others have rightly dismissed it as a case of offseason news. That is, we're looking for something to talk about when there's not much happening.
"It's not like it was a DAL or NYG hat," One fan said on NinersNation.com. "No big deal. I don’t get why he was wearing that hat (I mean, dude grew up a Packers fan), but I don’t give a crap, nor should anybody else. When opening day rolls around he’s going to be in red & gold, torching defenses with his arm, legs, and mind."
That pretty well sums it up. This is a football player that's wearing a team hat — that hat just happens to be one with another team's logo on it. There's actually nothing more to it than that so, seriously, let's stop this right now.
