Jersey exchange commences at Gillette Stadium

Knowing that fans wouldn't want to be wearing the jersey of someone arrested on murder charges, the Patriots made the right move by offering a jersey exchange for fans owning the now infamous jersey. Now that the two-day exchange is underway, we're seeing tweets of just how many people turned out.

Options are rather limited unless you're exchanging a game replica jersey. Luckily, Tom Brady is on the exchange list in all four categories as is tight end Rob Gronkowski.

This is a mid-morning snapshot of the line at the stadium. While the crowd hasn't been overwhelming, it has been constant. Considering the size of the line, it's apparent many fans were ready to be rid of Hernandez's jersey.

This is another view of the line forming to exchange jerseys. The white tent in the distance is the exchange booth.
