When Oakland Raiders defensive tackle Desmond Bryant was arrested on criminal mischief charges Sunday in Miami, a lot of folks wrongly assumed that initial reports were referring to Dez Bryant of the Dallas Cowboys. Turns out that wasn't the case, and we got visual confirmation with Desmond's mugshot, which is just…perfect.
The best part? Dude's a Harvard grad.
Bryant isn't the first celebrity/pro athlete to give us a ridiculous/hilarious mugshot. Hell, he isn't even the first Oakland Raider to create a strange photographic moment whilst being arrested. But this is one of my absolute favorites mugshots of all time.
I'd say Bryant edges out John Daly and Laurence Maroney in the all-time athlete standings…
But It's hard to beat Gary Coleman and Nick Nolte once you break from the world of sports…
