Here's how we rank the league's 32 teams with one week in the books…
1. San Francisco 49ers (1-0): I wasn't convinced that Colin Kaepernick could do it for an entire season without the surprise element. And then I watched the Green Bay game.
2. Denver Broncos (1-0): They continue to be the most dominant home team in the league, and Peyton Manning looks better than ever.
3. Seattle Seahawks (1-0): That wasn't pretty, but they were three time zones over for Carolina's home opener and still shut it down on D. Big rivalry game this Sunday night with San Fran.
4. Green Bay Packers (0-1): Expected them to drop that road opener against the league's top-ranked team, but with Aaron Rodgers they're still heavy hitters.
5. Chicago Bears (1-0): These guys are sneaky good. No sacks and hardly any pressure against the feisty Bengals in Week 1. Pass protection changes everything.
6. Cincinnati Bengals (0-1): Disappointing opening effort but that was on the road against a team I just said was sneaky good.
7. Indianapolis Colts (1-0): I thought they'd win bigger but the Raiders came to play. Andrew Luck is becoming a stud right before our eyes.
8. Houston Texans (1-0): Slow start but they came back big on the west coast in San Diego's home opener. That says a lot. Gonna be tight between them and Indy all year.
9. New England Patriots (1-0): Turns out they aren't quite the same with those losses in the receiving corps. And now Danny Amendola is unsurprisingly hurt.
10. Atlanta Falcons (0-1): They were expected to lose that game on the road, so let's all calm down. They'll be in the thick of things in December.
11. Dallas Cowboys (1-0): The D is really coming to play under Monte Kiffin. And they didn't even need Dez Bryant to beat the Giants Sunday.
12. New Orleans Saints (1-0): I need another week for verification, but that defense looked a hell of a lot better against the Falcons. With Sean Payton back, maybe they're legit again.
13. Miami Dolphins (1-0): That pass rush is ridiculous, and it'll only get better with Dion Jordan. The offensive trajectory is positive, too.
14. Philadelphia Eagles (1-0): One week of awesomeness not enough to move into the top 10. I don't believe they can sustain this on either side of the ball.
15. Washington Redskins (0-1): Tough loss but wait until Robert Griffin III adjusts. It'll take a little time. Still only fell by one score to the red-hot and unpredictable Eagles.
16. Baltimore Ravens (0-1): After all of those losses, this team and its overpaid quarterback will define "post-Super Bowl slump" in 2013.
17. Kansas City Chiefs (1-0): The defense was lights out and the new-look Chiefs dominated Jacksonville in Week 1. Now let's see what they can do against an NFL-caliber opponent.
18. Detroit Lions (1-0): Reggie Bush has finally found an ideal home. Is he the complementary weapon Calvin Johnson and Matt Stafford have been craving?
19. Tennessee Titans (1-0): I really think they did some great things in the offseason, but the quarterback position remains such a question mark.
20. St. Louis Rams (1-0): They seem to have a formula for beating NFC West teams, so expect the young Rams to be in it until the end.
21. New York Giants (0-1): It really isn't feeling like their year, but we've said that and eaten our words about the Giants before.
22. Minnesota Vikings (0-1): Adrian Peterson can't carry them to the playoffs on his own. Not again.
23. Pittsburgh Steelers (0-1): This team entered 2013 as average. Now, based on what happened on the field and injury-wise against Tennessee, they'd be lucky to go 8-8.
24. Carolina Panthers (0-1): Kudos to them for going all 12 rounds against the Seahawks, but they still need more from Cam Newton.
25. Oakland Raiders (0-1): They're not getting enough credit for that road effort against a playoff team.
26. Buffalo Bills (0-1): You deserve some love when you outplay the Patriots. EJ Manuel looked surprisingly solid in his debut.
27. Arizona Cardinals (0-1): It's a whole new ballgame now that they have a quarterback.
28. San Diego Chargers (0-1): So much wasted talent on this team. How do you collapse like that in the opener in front of your home crowd?
29. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (0-1): Deserved to beat the Jets, but that doesn't count for a whole lot. They're dealing with a mess this week.
30. New York Jets (1-0): They're dealing with a mess every week. Back to earth Thursday against New England.
31. Cleveland Browns (0-1): A chic team in the offseason, the Browns are still a year away. Weak effort in the home opener against a beatable team.
32. Jacksonville Jaguars (0-1): Blown out by a team that won only two games last year…at home? Inexcusable.
