The stupidest non-challenge
This is definitive proof that Jarrett Boykin's left hand touched down out of bounds before he got both feet in on what was ruled a 36-yard completion in the second quarter of a seven-point game against the Philadelphia Eagles.
FOX offered half a dozen replays, and yet no challenge flag was thrown by Chip Kelly. I don't get it.

The stupidest goal-line decision
Jim Harbaugh and the San Francisco 49ers wimped out and settled for a field goal on a fourth-and-one at the Carolina two-yard line with a six-point lead in the second quarter. You go up 13-0 in a game like that and it's pretty much over. And if you go for it and fail, it's not the end of the world because Carolina's offense, which hadn't scored, has to take over inside its own three-yard line. The conversion rate in situations like those is above 50 percent anyway, and Frank Gore averaged 5.1 yards per carry Sunday.
Instead, they kicked the field goal, kicked off, and Carolina got to start at the 20-yard line down nine, rather than, say, the two-yard line down six. They charged down the field and scored a touchdown on that ensuing series.
The Niners never scored again, never getting that close to the end zone. They lost 10-9.
The stupidest attempt at a two-minute drill
Why did Houston Texans offensive coordinator Rick Dennison panic when his team only needed a field goal to tie things up in Arizona Sunday? They had two minutes to go about 40 or 50 yards from their own 28, and yet they attempted two quasi-Hail Marys in a three-play span to force fourth down. They'd go four-and-out to lose by a field goal. No patience whatsoever.
The stupidest pass interference penalty
This Joe Flacco pass was badly under-thrown, and probably should have been intercepted by Reggie Nelson, but instead the seven-year veteran decided to give kids across the country a textbook example of blatant pass interference by never even trying to locate the ball.
The stupidest penalty call
It seems as though we have a ridiculous roughing the passer call each and every week. Sunday's victim was Clay Matthews. According to referee Mike Carey, this hit on Nick Foles was a "blow to the head and neck area"…
