Top 10 NFL draft picks by round over the last 10 years

4th round:

Jahri Evans

1. G Jahri Evans, Saints (108th pick by the Saints in 2006) – He was at one point rewarded with the richest contract for a guard in NFL history. He’s been to the Pro Bowl the last 5 seasons and is a Super Bowl champion.

2. DE Jared Allen, Bears (126th pick by the Chiefs in 2004) – He’s been to 5 Pro Bowls, he’s been the NFL sack leader twice, and he’s 12th on the all time sack list.

3. WR Brandon Marshall, Bears (120th pick by the Broncos in 2006) – He’s been to 5 Pro Bowls as well and seems to be getting better teamed up with Jay Cutler for the second time in Chicago.

4. LB Elvis Dummervil, Ravens (126th pick by the Broncos in 2006) – As  a 3-time Pro Bowler he was the NFL sack leader in 2009.

5. RB Darren Sproles, Eagles (130th pick by the Chargers in 2005) – Somehow he’s never been to a Pro Bowl but at 5’6″ he’s probably the smallest player to ever be a superstar. Most notable is that he broke the NFL record for all-purpose yards in a season in 2011. One of the most explosive players in the league both on offense and special teams.

6. CB Alterraun Verner, Buccaneers (104th pick by the Titans in 2010) – Just made his first Pro Bowl thanks to one of the best seasons in the league by a corner right in the middle of his contract year. He’s in the conversation with Richard Sherman, Peterson and Revis as one of the best cover guys in the league if he can continue at this pace.

7. DT Geno Atkins, Bengals (120th pick by the Bengals in 2010) – Quickly becoming one of the best interior players in the league and has already been to 2 Pro Bowls.

8. K Stephen Gostkowski, Patriots (118th pick by the Patriots in 2006) – Most would have viewed this as entirely too high to take a kicker but I don’t think the Patriots regret it. He’s been to 2 Pro Bowls and has made over 85% of his career field goals.

9. T Jermon Bushrod, Bears (125th pick by the Saints in 2007) – He’s been to 2 Pro Bowls which got him a huge contract with the Bears.

10. FB Le’Ron McClain, free agent (137th pick by the Ravens in 2007) – Was the standard of excellence at fullback in the NFL for a good bit. He’s been to 2 Pro Bowls and has played well for three teams.
