Any day in which a stadium is put to sleep permanently by way of demolition is a sad day for sports. After all, lots of memories are made in each and every North American sports venue. But the Metrodome in Minnesota was a true piece of crap, so the emotions were certainly a little mixed when it was officially lowered into its grave this week.
