Week 4 NFL game watchability rankings

Week 4 in the NFL is here, and you might be entering the weekend with your own preferences regarding which games to focus on, and which to place on the backburner.

Most of you have your favorites and fantasy players to track. But in case you’re completely neutral or need help breaking ties with regard to what to watch, we’ve ranked all 15 games from most appealing to least enticing.

1. Vikings at Broncos (Sunday, 4 p.m. ET, FOX): Trendy Minnesota against apparently fading Peyton Manning makes for a fun matchup, and that Denver defense is awesome to watch.

2. Giants at Bills (Sunday, 1 p.m. ET, FOX): Two playoff-caliber teams with fun offenses. No complaints.

3. Ravens at Steelers (Thursday night, CBS): Desperate Baltimore against a Pittsburgh team starting Michael Vick. Beautiful. There will be drama.

4. Packers at 49ers (Sunday, 4 p.m. ET, FOX): Could be a blowout, but sit back and enjoy the Aaron Rodgers show against a terrible defense.

5. Jets at Dolphins (Sunday, 9:30 a.m. ET, CBS): Love the early London start, especially with both AFC East teams trying to save themselves from early-season collapses.

6. Rams at Cardinals (Sunday, 4 p.m. ET, FOX): Could be a one-sided affair, but the Cards are playing as well as anyone in football right now.

7. Panthers at Buccaneers (Sunday, 1 p.m. ET, FOX): Cam Newton and Jameis Winston are big draws in what is a fun divisional matchup. I’d expect it to be close, too.

8. Cowboys at Saints (Sunday night, NBC): Battle of backup quarterbacks? It’s possible. Dallas is a mess and the Saints are too, regardless of whether or not they have Drew Brees.

9. Lions at Seahawks (Monday night, ESPN): Definite blowout for Seattle at home. Not the type of game I’d pay much attention to if it weren’t in prime time.

10. Chiefs at Bengals (Sunday, 1 p.m. ET, CBS): An inevitable blowout? Kansas City is better than what we saw Monday night, but that possibility exists here. Still, not a bad matchup.

11. Eagles at Redskins (Sunday, 1 p.m. ET, FOX): Philly’s offense is always interesting but the Redskins are a bore. The fact it’s a divisional matchup helps, though.

12. Browns at Chargers (Sunday, 4 p.m. ET, CBS): So long as Josh McCown is Cleveland’s starting quarterback, there’s little reason to watch this team play. And it’s same old, same old for San Diego.

13. Raiders at Bears (Sunday, 1 p.m. ET, CBS): Oakland looks legit, so it’s worth checking them out. But the Bears are so bad.

14. Texans at Falcons (Sunday, 1 p.m. ET, CBS): Tune in to check out the new-look Falcons and the draw that is J.J. Watt, but know that the blowout potential is high. Houston is awful.

15. Jaguars at Colts (Sunday, 1 p.m. ET, CBS): C’mon, you know Indy will be looking to unload on the Jags the same way the Patriots did last week.
