It looks like Nintendo of America, which is headquartered right outside of Seattle, Washington, is rooting for its home team in the Super Bowl today.

Yesterday, the company’s verified Twitter account tweeted Seattle Seahawks running back Marshawn “Beast Mode” Lynch, saying “Hey @MoneyLynch! We heard you like Toad, so we used #MK8 to run a simulation of Sunday’s game,” and attached the following .gif, in which Toad nails a Mii version New England Patriots tight end Rob “Gronk” Gronkowski with a red shell.

and here’s the tweet that includes the video of Toad destroying a Mii version of Rob Gronkowski….
