Khalif Wyatt makes season debut with Springfield Armor

Former Temple Owl star Khalif Wyatt is a step closer towards his NBA dreams. Today, the Springfield Armor of the NBA D-League announced that Wyatt was acquired from the Reno Bighorns in exchange for the Canton Charge’s fourth round pick and returning player rights to Kenny Adeleke.

For Wyatt he will get to showcase his talent on the D-League stage with the second half of the season just beginning. If you remembered, Khalif Wyatt was with the Philadelphia 76ers for the entire summer league and training camp. Then he was waived by the Sixers on October 25 and next signed a deal with the Guandong Southern Tigers of the Chinese Basketball Association.

Wyatt had a short stay in the Chinese Basketball Association and then according to DLeagueDigest.com about six days ago he entered his name into the D-League player pool.

Tonight, as I mentioned he made his NBA D-League debut against the Fort Wayne Mad Ants. Wyatt came off the bench and scored 19 points, grabbed four rebounds, and dished out five assists. The Armor would go on to lose 117-108.

If you do not know, the Springfield Armor are the affiliate of the Brooklyn Nets.
