At “Stream Pies,” we are serving up gooey loads of knowledge. Here, we’ll provide invaluable streaming advice on kickers and DEFs who are owned in less than 30-percent of Yahoo! leagues. We list the options in order of best to “least-best” option (with the strongest recommendations starting at the top). We also include last week’s suggestions and full season results. Points are based on default Yahoo! settings. These recommendations also work for those of you who play in daily/weekly leagues on sites like FanDuel and DraftKings as they are cheap options that allow you to spend more money on the premium positions instead.
Team Defense (DEF) Recommendations
Week 13 Recommendations
1 – Chicago Bears vs. SF
Quietly, the Chicago Bears are putting together quality defensive fantasy performances over their last four weeks (with three of those games being on the road). The 49ers offense has struggled all season, so expect the surging Bears to rack up a strong fantasy performance.
2 – New York Giants vs. NYJ
Despite burning me last week, I’m rolling with the Giants again. When it comes to their regular season rivalry with the Jets, always take the Giants (who have won the last five matchups). Sure the G-Men played flat for three quarters last week, but they should be fired up and at their best in a must-win matchup for both squads.
3 – Tennessee Titans vs. JAC
The Jaguars are allowing over three sacks a game per season, while the Titans are registering 3.4 sacks a game over their last five.
