Stream Pies: Week Four

At “Stream Pies,” we are serving up gooey loads of knowledge. Here, we’ll provide invaluable streaming advice on kickers and DEFs who are owned in less than 30-percent of Yahoo! leagues. We list the options in order of best to “least-best” option (with the strongest recommendations starting at the top). We also include last week’s suggestions and full season results. Points are based on default Yahoo! settings. These recommendations also work for those of you who play in daily/weekly leagues on sites like FanDuel and DraftKings as they are cheap options that allow you to spend more money on the premium positions instead.

Your boy Crook has had a lot on his plate lately. I don’t want to get into all the greasy details, but here’s a quick list of some of the things that have kept me away (in no particular order):

1) Porn
2) Weekly Flexing Competitions (spoiler alert, I won every one)
3) Eliminating all the names on my shit list
4) Writing the next great American novel, I call it, “The Soviet Union Rules”
5) Porn
6) Re-watching The Sopranos (I finally figured out the ending… Tony’s gay)

Anyways… fantasy football.

Team Defense (DEF) Recommendations
Week Four Recommendations
1 – San Diego Chargers vs. CLE
They’ve managed one measly sack this year, but I’m playing the “friendly matchup” card with San Diego this week. They’ve actually been terrible against the run, but they draw the hapless Browns who have been exquisitely pathetic on the ground (3.27 YPC). Home game to boot? I’ll take it.

2 – Cincinnati Bengals vs. KC
The Chiefs have Jamaal Charles, but Cincinnati’s formidable defensive line should force Alex Smith into enough terrible decisions to come away with a top 12 fantasy performance.

Kicker Recommendations
Week Four Recommendations

1 – Robbie Gould vs. OAK
2 – Graham Gano @TB
3 – Sebastian Janikowski @CHI
