Week 7 of the college football season is here and there are a ton of big time matchups. Let’s breakdown some questions that will be answered this weekend. Don’t forget to check out our college football predictions for week five if you’re having a wager.

Are the Sooners for real?

The Oklahoma Sooners come into this game with a perfect record and there is a lot of college football playoff for this team, but there is one big problem, they haven’t played anyone.

Their best win is over a Texas Tech squad who is playing their backup quarterback and that really doesn’t say much about their team. For the Longhorns their biggest game was against LSU, and even though they lost, they at least have been tested and should be well prepared for this game.

So will the Sooners prove they are one of the best teams in college football? Or will the longhorns be too much and they suffer a big slip up?

Does Vegas know something we don’t with regards to the LSU line?

There is no doubt that Death Valley is a tough place to play, but this LSU Line seems really fishy.

LSU beat Texas by only seven points and there could be an argument made that the Gators are better than the Longhorns. The Longhorns are coming off a win against the TIgers where they only gave up 13 points.

The Gators don’t have Feleipe Franks, but backup quarterback Kyle Trask has done a good job of filling in.

So is Vegas right having LSU lay 13.5 points or is Vegas off on this one?

Will offense or defense reign supreme?

The matchup between Penn State and Iowa is a showdown between two different styles of play. The Nittany Lions have a good defense, but they lean on an offense that is averaging 47 points per game.

For the Hawkeyes they are averaging only 27.4 points per game and they lean on a defense that is giving up only 8.8 points per game.

Can the Hawkeyes slow down the pace of the defense and flex their defensive muscles? Or will the Nittany Lions turn it into a track meet in hopes the Hawkeyes can’t keep up.

Will Michigan State/Wisconsin be the lowest scoring game of the weekend?

If you like good old fashion Big Ten football, make sure you tune into the game between Michigan State and Wisconsin, because that’s exactly what it should be.

On the season Wisconsin is giving up only 5.8 points per game and the Spartans early in the season had a strong defense.

There should be a lot of running in this game and it feels like it could finish with a 13-6 score line? Will this be the lowest scoring game or will another game take that title?
