The Minnesota Timberwolves have a new head coach in Tom Thibodeau, and given his old-school, defensive mindset, it was inevitable that a few players from the old regime would be moved as a result.
Point guard Ricky Rubio appears to be one of those players.
Minnesota has been shopping Ricky Rubio throughout the week. His future in Minnesota is likely coming to an end.

This isn’t a huge surprise, and certainly makes sense. Rubio isn’t known as being a tough, gritty defender, and the flashy point guard is a key cog in the Wolves’ offense, but sometimes takes the highlight-reel play over the smart one.
It’s hard to see Rubio and Thibodeau getting along as well. The two have distinctly different personalities.
The Bulls are certainly in the market for a point guard, now that Derrick Rose is gone. Both the Bucks and Spurs are as well, but Rubio doesn’t really fit their style of play. The Hornets would make a lot of sense as well as far as landing spots go.
