Free agent forward-guard Brandon Rush agreed to a one-year deal with the Minnesota Timberwolves on Wednesday, according to his agent Mark Bartelstein of Priority Sports. The contract is worth $3.5 million.
Rush, 30, revived his career with the Golden State Warriors last season. He played in 72 games and connected on 41.4 percent of his 3-pointers. Four other teams were in the mix to sign the former 13th overall pick, but he chose Minnesota, where his chances of playing are good.

The Timberwolves finished near the bottom in 3-point shooting last season (33.8 percent). Rush has shot 40.3 percent from 3-point range in eight seasons.
