Domata Peko: Steelers are ‘pieces of bleep’

Bengals defensive tackle Domata Peko was in London Tuesday for an event to promote the Bengals’ Oct. 30 game against the Redskins at Wembley Stadium.

Peko was asked to complete the sentence “The Pittsburgh Steelers are … .” His response was “pieces of bleep,” according to USA Today.

He actually used the word “bleep,” although despite his self-censorship it’s pretty well understood what he really meant.

Peko, who has been with the Bengals since 2006, went on to talk about the Steelers-Bengals rivalry. “Whenever we beat them, it is a big party in Cincinnati.”

There would have been a huge party in Cincinnati, then, had Jeremy Hill not fumbled or had Vontaze Burfict not attempted to decapitate Antonio Brown in the final minutes of the Bengals’ playoff game against the Steelers in January. Instead, the Bengals lost to the Steelers 18-16 for their fifth consecutive wild-card exit.

Peko and the Bengals will try to avoid a similar exit, or Brexit, this season.
