Coming into the season many believed the Minnesota Golden Gophers were at least a year away from being a competitor in the Big Ten West. Fast Forward to right now and if they win their game on Saturday against the Wisconsin Badgers they will be the Big Ten West Champions. It’s not going to be easy by any means, but they have a good chance, especially with the offense. So will Minnesota be rowing the boat all the way to Indianapolis? Can Jim Harbaugh lead the Wolverines to a win over Ohio State?
All the talk surrounding Jim Harbaugh heading into this showdown is his inability to win the big game at the end of the season against Ohio State. Ohio State has won the last seven games played between the two teams and they are big favorites in this game. It’s probably going to take a perfect game for the Wolverines to get the job done, but it’s doable.
How will Alabama do against Auburn?
There seems to be a door open for Alabama to get into the college football playoff but for that to happen they need to beat Auburn, and they probably need to beat them big. It’s hard to know what this team is going to be without Tua but there is no time for struggles. Crimson Tide fans expect their team to win the title every year, and to get that done they need to really impress in this game.
