Cleveland Browns fans can’t help but feel optimistic after the Cleveland Cavaliers won the 2016 NBA Finals.
How optimistic are Browns fans? A Facebook group has popped up and has more than 3,000 fans interested and 3,000 more listed as “going” to a Super Bowl parade—at First Energy Stadium in Cleveland in 2033.
The 2033 isn’t a typo, folks.
The page humorously said the following under details:
Come celebrate the Browns first Super Bowl ever!
(Figure this is the earliest it’ll happen.)
Twitter, of course, went to town:
Overcrowded streets won’t be a problem when the Browns have a Super Bowl victory parade, because by then, cars will be flying.

Brandon Weeden is about to make The Return to Cleveland and lead the Browns to the Super Bowl

By the time the Browns win the Super Bowl I assume parade floats will hover over people & cloak if need be rather than drive through them.

A joke post or not, 3,000 people is still 3,000 people and one can see the impact a title has on a fanbase.
Still, the current iteration of the Robert Griffin III-led Browns don’t figure to emulate the LeBron James-led Cavaliers, at least not this year. But a fan can hope, as Cavaliers fans did this year despite the team falling into a 3-1 hole against the Golden State Warriors in the Finals.
Everyone knows how that ended.
For now, the Browns look headed in the right direction under the guidance of new coach Hue Jackson. If he has his way, 2033 is too far away for a parade. The sooner the better.
