My sportswriting career started like many others – with a really small audience while not truly knowing what I was doing.
When I wrote the first baseball article on my personal blog over four years ago, I just wanted to find a hobby outside of work to keep me busy. Now, over 2,000 articles and nearly nine million page views later, it’s turned into a career.
I’ve written about baseball — mostly wondering when the Mets were going to be good again — for sites like MetsMerized, FanSided, Yahoo! Sports and Bleacher Report. Since then, I’ve taken my writing and editing talents to FanDuel Insider and have expanded my horizons beyond the diamond and into the realm of daily fantasy sports.
I used to strictly talk about social media on this site, but times, they’re a-changing. Chin Music is here to provide running commentary on what’s going on in sports these days, but mostly about baseball.
