5- Blake Bortles, Jaguars (last week: NR)
Bortles wasn’t pretty in a matchup against Buffalo in London, however the only thing that matters in the NFL, is that W, and Bortles aided Jacksonville in leaving Europe with a win. He tossed the game winning touchdown with 2:16 left to play in a 34-31 win.
4- Derek Carr, Raiders (last week: NR)
Carr was sharp in a big inter-divisional matchup against the Chargers. Carr completed 24 of 31 passes for 289 yards and three touchdowns as the Raiders jumped out to a 30-6 halftime lead, holding on to beat San Diego on the road 37-29, and move into second place in the AFC West.
3- Ryan Tannehill, Dolphins (last week: NR)
Tannehill torched the Houston Texans with four touchdown passes with three of four strikes coming from 50 yards out (53, 50, and 54). By halftime, the game was over as the Dolphins held a 41-0 lead.
2- Tom Brady, Patriots (last week: 2)
For the first time in his entire Hall of Fame career, Tom Brady was the leading rusher for his football team. Brady’s 15 yards were followed by a 1-yard QB dive to help tie the game against the NY Jets at 10. In the 4th quarter, Brady tossed two touchdowns as the Pats remained undefeated.
1- Kirk Cousins, Redskins (last week: NR)
Kirk Cousins brought the Redskins back from a 24-0 deficit to beat the Bucs 31-30, including tossing the game winning touchdown with just 24 seconds left. Cousins finished 33 of 40 for 317 yards and three scores in the comeback win.
