Bismack Biyombo not afraid of LeBron James, only lions

What is Toronto Raptors center Bismack Biyombo afraid of? Not LeBron James, that’s for sure.

“No I’m not and I will never be. I’m never afraid of human beings,” Biyombo told reporters Thursday when asked if he was afraid of James. “I always joke with Kyle [Lowry], I’m afraid of lions.”

Biyombo sure didn’t look afraid when James got in his face in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals Tuesday.

James and the Cavaliers got the last laugh, winning the game 115-84, but Biyombo is optimistic about Game 2 on Thursday.

“The sun is always going to come out no matter how long the night is,” Biyombo told reporters. “It’s a new day for us and we’re all excited about it.”

It will be interesting to see if that play with Biyombo and James carries over in Game 2. The playoffs are always known for getting a little chippy.
