Skip Bayless did what he does best Sunday night after the Cleveland Cavaliers upset the Golden State Warriors to pull off the most epic comeback in NBA Finals history—troll.
One problem—Bayless is on his way out at ESPN, so nobody pulled any punches when Bayless let out an eye-rolling tweet for attention:
The Spurs would’ve beaten these Cavs.

Nobody, meaning even ESPN personalities past and present jumped on the ridiculousness without much in the way of mercy for Bayless.

And the best part: @KingJames ends @RealSkipBayless career at ESPN that he built by trolling on him by shutting him the F up.

Silly, but the reaction is just what Bayless wants in the first place.
It’s interesting, though, to get something of a true look at how some in the industry feel about the approach.
Bayless next heads to Fox Sports, where surely his campaign against LeBron James and others will continue.
