The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree, it seems, because J.R. Smith’s daughter, Demi, stole the show during ESPN’s pregame coverage ahead of Game 6 of the NBA Finals on Thursday.
When ESPN’s Lindsay Czarniak asked Demi how she felt about her dad getting ready to play in the big game, the response she delivered was Riley Curry-esque.
“I’m just proud my dad made it to the championship without getting kicked off the team” she said.
"What is it like to watch your dad (JR Smith) get ready for this game"

If Demi was holding the microphone at the time, she probably would’ve dropped it and just walked off. She couldn’t have provided a more fitting answer to that question.
