Lil Wayne drops track to motivate Cleveland Cavaliers

The Cleveland Cavaliers laughed the Golden State Warriors out of the building Wednesday night in Game 3 of the NBA Finals, a 30-point dismantling perhaps fueled by none other than Lil Wayne.

Weezy didn’t lace up the sneakers and get out there to help, but he did drop a track before tipoff to help motivate the Cavaliers, who entered Wednesday in an ugly 2-0 hole:

It’s a wicked, short offering from Weezy available here. Here’s a sampling of the lyrics, via Genius:

Like arrivederci, all hail the king
The city on his shoulder like barbell on strings
But ain’t no place like home
That rope ain’t too long and they gon’ pull it off
The king want his crown back, he never took it off

The Cavaliers needed some extra juice after getting embrassed over two road games to start the series. No such thing happened during Wednesday’s 30-point win, as the Cavaliers got 32 points from LeBron James, 30 more from Kyrie Irving and 20 from J.R. Smith, who all feature prominently in the new track.

By the looks of it, the Warriors better hope Wayne doesn’t drop a track before every game the rest of the way. Known for his wild output over the years, nobody should put it past Wayne.
