Reggie Jackson trolls Thunder after OKC’s Game 7 loss

Detroit Pistons guard Reggie Jackson just doesn’t care for the Oklahoma City Thunder.

Jackson played for the Thunder for three years but had an ugly split with the organization. He seemed to get the last laugh Monday, though, when the Golden State Warriors rallied from a 3-1 hole to upend the Thunder. Right on cue, Jackson hit Twitter with a solid troll game:

Remember, Jackson had the nasty split with OKC in which he had decided he should be the starting point guard over Russell Westbrook, according to Anthony Slater of The Oklahoman:

Rather famously, Jackson and the Thunder went through a sour break-up last season. He wanted a starting role, to be the star of a team, and that was something OKC couldn’t offer. For months, Jackson was vocal about it both inside and outside the locker room, creating a growing divide within a frustrated team. He’d write ‘SPG’ on his shoes, for starting point guard, even with [Russell] Westbrook on his team.

Then there was the whole celebration thing this past season in which Jackson drew the ire of Westbrook and others after his Pistons beat the Thunder:

Jackson might have seen his Pistons get swept at the hands of the Cleveland Cavaliers, but it’s clear this beef will continue on in strong fashion.

Next season can’t come soon enough.
