League MVP Stephen Curry was ejected for the first time of his career during Game 6 of the NBA Finals on Thursday night.
Curry fouled out after receiving his sixth foul with roughly five minutes remaining in the fourth quarter, and his frustration then boiled over. The foul seemed to be a bit of a weak call, so it’s understandable why he was so upset, especially since at least two of his other fouls were ticky-tack as well.
He reacted by throwing his mouthpiece and actually hit a fan with it, although he later apologized, which caused him to get a technical foul and an ejection from the game.

There’s a lot of talk about whether or not Curry should be suspended, but let’s be real, the NBA was meddled enough in this series and should leave things be.
Game 7 is set to take place at Oracle Arena on Sunday, and tickets are still available (get five percent off by using promo code “TSD5”).
