Steven Adams: Draymond Green has ‘peaked with annoyingness’

Draymond Green wears his emotions on his sleeve. The Golden State Warriors forward didn’t hold back when he hit a 3 in the first quarter of Game 2 Wednesday night, talking trash in the ear of Oklahoma City Thunder center Steven Adams. He did it again after a coast-to-coast layup in the second quarter, even as Adams was bent over in pain after getting kneed in the groin by Green unintentionally.

When asked if Green is being more pesky and annoying this series, Adams had the perfect response.

“I think he’s peaked with annoyingness,” Adams told reporters Friday.

Adams also told reporters he sees Green talking a lot when on the bench but doesn’t hear him while playing.

As for the shot he took below the belt, Adams is happy to report he’s still a man.

Adams and Green will meet again in Game 3 Sunday. The series is tied 1-1.
