The 2016 NBA Draft is just around the corner, and top prospects such as Oklahoma’s Buddy Hield are currently working out for teams.
Hield reportedly worked out for the Celtics earlier this week, and he made most of the three-pointers he attempted, according to ESPN’s Jeff Goodman.
Boston Celtics worked out both Buddy Hield and also Marquese Chriss today in California, source told ESPN. Both Rob Pelinka clients.

Goodman didn’t seem surprised at all, probably because of how much he values Hield’s shooting ability.
To me, the top two pure shooters in this draft are Buddy Hield and Kyle Wiltjer.

Hield shot 45.7 percent from three-point land last season for the Sooners, and one lucky NBA team is going to get a guy who can shoot from literally anywhere, especially from the perimeter.
On paper, the Celtics make sense as a potential landing spot, as the team already has a stout frontcourt and good point guard. What they need is a shooter, and Hield could be that guy they take with the third overall pick.
