Oklahoma City Thunder superstar Kevin Durant is the hottest free agent on the market this year, and at one point, one-third of the league’s teams were vying for his services.
He met with a handful of them this weekend, and on Saturday, he announced he’d be making his decision in 24-36 hours.
Upon hearing that announcement, Boston Red Sox slugger David Ortiz put on his negotiating hat and gave his best pitch in an attempt to lure him to Boston.
Yo @KDTrey5 sorry I couldn't make the meeting today but Brady will tell u they don't call Boston the City of Champions for nothing

The Red Sox lost 21-2 on Saturday, so Ortiz’s timing wasn’t all that great, given that it was their third-worst loss suffered in the history of Fenway Park.
