Peyton Manning spent his sporting years penning letters to those important to him, and now it’s time for the globe to give back.
Gatorade has a special 2016 NFL draft commercial honoring Manning in which those on the receiving end of letters reveal what the legendary quarterback had to say. The commercial is already up online:
Over the course of his impressive 18-year career, Peyton Manning has reached out to hundreds of people with sincere handwritten letters. Recipients have included teammates and rivals, family and friends, coaches, celebrities and fans alike. Now, after 18 years, Gatorade pays tribute to the Sheriff using his own words.

In the hype of Thursday’s draft, it already feels like years ago Manning hung up the cleats and rode off into the sunset, Lombardi Trophy in hand.
